These children deserve to enjoy Christmas, too. Will you help their dreams come true?
The little children, in this photo, live under a bridge in the Philippines. There are more than 100 children living under this bridge. We want to give all of them a Christmas party complete with gifts and food. If a lot of us give a little, then together we can bless many children. I can’t think of a better way to honor our Lord Jesus at Christmas than this.
Last year a family chose to cut down on the gifts given to each other and instead to give to the children in the Philippines. I know it pleased Jesus to see them do this. Would you consider including these children in your Christmas giving?
The children that FCM sponsors come from very poor homes. A Christmas gift for a child in the Philippines does not have to cost a lot, and it would make that child very, very happy. A simple toy, a new t-shirt, or an ice cream cone will put a smile on a child’s face. Other popular gifts are mosquito nets, bath towels, light blankets and umbrellas. Food is always a special gift, because the children rarely have enough food to eat, and it is not unusual for them to go all day without food.
FCM Partners, Sponsors and Friends have given so generously in past years, so that the Filipino children and their families are blessed at Christmas. Your donation, large or small, will make Christmas special for them.
You can send your donation online to the Christmas for Children fund via the FCM website. Donations for Christmas need to be received before Thanksgiving, so that we can send the money the first week of December to the pastors who care for the children. Thank you!!!!
