How FCM Uses The “Food For Learning” Program To Change Lives

Having lunch on a school day is not a sure thing for poor children in the Philippines. With no food at home and no money, too many times these children go without lunch. The chances are good that they did not have breakfast before school either.

These children walk through all the dust and smells and dirty grime of the garbage site where they live, bringing various containers to be filled with food. Our Fullness in Christ Ministries’ (FCM) pastors tell us they see children every day who are so hungry and too often have not had a full meal in days.  This makes it really hard for these children to concentrate and do well in school.

The children in the photo above are sponsored by FCM. They come to “Kid’s Freedom Center” on school days to eat a good healthy lunch made possible by your gifts. When you send money to “Food for Learning,” you help make sure hundreds of poor children have the supplemental nutrition that helps them do their best in school. The food served is a good tasting soup (the children really like it) and it has been enhanced with all the vitamins and minerals a child needs for good health. When the children have good food, they are healthier and their attendance and performance improve. When they get this food even once a week, it makes a visible difference in the life of a child. This helps them gain the knowledge and skills necessary to rise out of poverty.

Thank you, Partners, Sponsors and Friends, for giving to the “Food For Learning” fund. If you would like to bless these children, and be a part of what God is doing in the Philippines, send a gift to help fill empty bowls with good food. You can make donations to the “Food For Learning” fund by going to the Fullness in Christ Ministries website at http://fullnessinchristministries.orgThank you for all you do!

About kathybohlin

I am passionate about helping poor children in Philippines come to Jesus, get an education and become all God created them to be. Right now our ministry (Fullness in Christ Ministries) helps almost 900 of the poorest of the poor children in the Philippines. They are over seen by 24 national pastors whom we consider trustworthy and competent. There is accountability. I am single and contented with that. Also I want everyone to know how wonderful Jesus is!!
